Cirel Mail Extension Privacy.

Last updated: 14 July 2026

Cirel Mail is a browser extension for customers of Cirel Technologies Ltd. It adds a small toolbar above the message box on LinkedIn, Gmail, Outlook web, Instantly and Spacemail and drafts replies using your Cirel workspace's AI. This policy covers exactly what the extension processes. Cirel's general Privacy Policy governs the Cirel platform itself.

01What the extension processes

  • Account information. You connect the extension by signing in to your existing Cirel account. The extension stores your session tokens and email address in your browser's extension storage — never your password, which is only ever entered on app.cirel.ai.
  • Conversation content — only when you ask. When you click Generate reply(or the keyboard shortcut), the visible conversation thread is sent over TLS to Cirel's backend to produce the draft. Nothing is read or transmitted passively; no page content leaves your browser until you explicitly trigger an action.
  • CRM sync — optional and off-switchable.If the person you write with matches a lead in your workspace's Cirel Intelligence and the setting is on, sending a reply updates that lead's status and stores the conversation on the lead inside your own workspace. Turn it off in the extension's options at any time.
  • Usage counts. We count how many Intelligence Replies your workspace generates per month to enforce your plan's included volume.
  • Settings.Language, tone, per-site toggles and similar preferences are stored in Chrome's extension sync storage.

02What the extension never does

  • No collection of browsing history, and no activity on sites beyond those listed above.
  • No selling or renting of data, and no advertising or third-party analytics.
  • No use of your conversations to train AI models.
  • No sending of messages — every draft is a suggestion; you always press send yourself.
  • No reading of pages in the background: processing happens only on your explicit click or shortcut.

03Storage, security and retention

Requests travel over TLS to Cirel's EU-hosted backend (Supabase). Workspace data is isolated with row-level security. Drafting is transient: the thread you send is used to produce the reply and is not retained, except the optional CRM log described above, which lives in your own workspace and follows your workspace's retention. Signing out of the extension deletes its stored tokens; removing a member from a Cirel workspace disconnects their extension automatically.

04Your choices and contact

You can sign out, disable per-site injection, or turn off CRM sync in the extension's options at any time. For access or deletion requests — or anything else — write to compliance@cirel.ai. Data controller: Cirel Technologies Ltd.
